Rubber Shred Mats
A range of pre-fabricated rubber shred mats, for high wear areas in playgrounds, patios, walkways, and many more commercial and domestic applications.
Dense and durable rubber mats made from high quality fine grade rubber shred, suitable as a stand-alone surface for landscaping or as an infill for EcoScape® Loose Mulch and in Softbond® domestic play facilities, in areas of high wear.
Easy installation
In domestic play mulch applications, just lay loose on the ground or in amongst the loose mulch where you need them; weighing in at 17 kilos each they are unlikely to move around.
In Landscape applications they can be loose lay like a slab and retained at the perimeter of the area, or edge fixed to each other with a sealant.
In SoftBond®, they can be placed in the desired location on to a suitably prepared base* and the SoftBond® can be formed in-situ around the mat sealing it in place.
*NB Subject to the impact absorption required for a particular application the proposed sub-base may need adjustment. A 30mm thick SoftBond®+ mat, has achieved a 1.6m critical fall height on to a dense sub-soil base when tested by an independent specialist laboratory.
